Kitchen and Bath Designer

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000

Synergy Builders interior design/ build firm is seeking a Kitchen and Bath designer with at least 5 years' experience. Our firm is growing and in need of qualified and artistic designers who want to become a part of our team. Responsibilities: 

• Review and understand client goals and preferences with Project Developer and/or Client 

• Run meetings with clients in showroom to select product specifications for each project including design, colors, and finishes, etc. 
• As built drawings and conceptual drawings using chief architect – A MUST!!! 
• Coordinate and attend client off-site selection meetings 
• Document product selection and project details using appropriate forms 
• Design and layout of cabinets using computer aided programs or hand drafting 

• Coordinate and submit product selections for vendor estimates & prepare information for estimating  
• Participate in pre-construction meeting, controller review, contract meetings, and mid job walk throughs during production 

 

Qualification: 

• NKBA badges preferred
• Previous work experience with all phases of residential design with a focus on Kitchen & Bath Design 

• A bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture 
• Be a conceptual thinker with strong technical skills (design and drawing) 
• Experience providing detailed construction documents 
• Strong product knowledge of all interior and exterior products 
• Fluency in 20/20, Chief Architect and Microsoft office 

• Willing to work some evenings and Saturdays
