Position Title: Student Ministry Director

 

Organization: Calvary Port St Lucie Church

 

Location: Port St Lucie, FL

 

Job Summary:


The Student Ministry Director seeks to partner with parents and reach the next generation of students with the good news of King Jesus. This leader will teach weekly, train and empower leaders, and partner with other church ministries. They will also plan and execute events for our student ministry and be a shepherd for our students.

What you’ll do  

                                                                         

  • Teach the scriptures to middle and high school students weekly
  • Lead a student ministry small group
  • Develop relationships with ministry partners that empower discipleship 
  • Help plan and lead events including but not limited to camps, mission trips, serve outings, team trainings, and much more


Skills you have


  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited bible college or university
  • A minimum of three years of experience 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google platforms with an ability to learn other programs, like Planning Center Online
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to reflect the heartbeat of the ministry in decisions
  • A love for education 


Job Specifications:

 

  • Full-time, salary position including weekends and some weeknights.
  • Reports to Next Gen Pastor


Physical Requirements:


The ability to exert moderate physical effort in an active work environment requires sitting, standing, pushing, and pulling objects and materials up to 25 pounds, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and seeing information in print and electronically.
