Groundskeeper
North Port, FL
Temporary 1 month
$16.79/hr.
Performs labor of grounds maintenance including landscaping, turf care and irrigation. Work is performed under direction of a Senior Groundskeeper and or Parks and Grounds Manager.
This position may be required to work varied hours included days, evenings, weekends, and holidays % of work time with associated task:
70%- Performs routine ground and lawn maintenance. (i.e. landscaping, turf care, irrigation, planting, weed-whacking, and mowing)
20%- Performs work involving precise trimming, hedging, and pruning trees, hedges and plants. Assists in preparation and review of specifications for plan materials and coordination of landscape projects
10%- Performs inspection of parks to ensure proper care and maintenance, reporting on the status/condition of parks, such as broken or missing items, amenities, infrastructure and structures.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, and athletic turn
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid FL driver's license
- Drug-free workplace
