Salary:
Production Supervisor
We are looking for a production supervisor to grow with the company and apply already established manufacturing practices as well as develop new standards as they see fit. The following is a list of responsibilities of this role:
- Relay the instructions and the policy of the Plant Manager to operators and warehouse personnel
- Participate in the development of the manufacturing plan to implement and adapt it, if necessary.
- Guarantee the quality of the products manufactured.
- Ensure control of the non-compliant product.
- Enforce and respect the different rules of operation.
- Organize product flows between warehouses and the production floor.
- To make the final decision on the approval or rejection of produced parts if the responsibility is delegated by the Quality Lead or Management.
- Report any anomalies, observed or potential.
- Contribute to continuous improvement.
- To respect the charters, procedures and rules applicable, set up within the framework of the organization.
- Ensure compliance of the rules of personal hygiene and good practices by the operators.
- Respect the rules defined for emergency situations.
- Make sure raw material used is approved material. (approved by quality)
- To enforce the environmental laws: waste management, ....
- Enforce the equipment safety instructions, including the rules of conduct for the respect of people and property.
- Relay information to colleagues, the plant manager, and corporate management.
- Learn and be able to use the computer programs essential to perform job functions
- Enforce instructions of management
- Respect good hygiene practices
- Respect the principles of prevention of emergencies
- Anticipate and plan resources on short and long term basis
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of sources of contamination of products during manufacturing
- Know how to motivate a manufacturing team
