Accounts Receivable/Invoicing Specialist

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time non-exempt position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through

Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch.

Job Description – Accounts Receivable Specialist
Responsible for supporting the accounting department in securing revenue by verifying receipts, resolving discrepancies.
Maintains all A/R customer accounts.
Responsible for daily data entry and invoicing.
Processes and distributes outgoing customer invoices via mail or email.
Records customer invoices.
Verifies account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from Project Managers and Customers.
Responsible for verification of specific Accounts Receivable billings.
Will be cross trained within other areas of the accounting department.
Assists with filtering and delegating incoming calls.

Position Requirements

2-years work experience in an accounting role preferred.
Knowledge of general accounting principles preferred.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving.
Able to proactively address potential issues or errors.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Collaborative working style and team-player attitude.
Able to work independently with little supervision.
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to team’s success.
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment.
Valid driver's license.

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate is commensurate with position, education, and experience.
401(k) Retirement Plan, available following month after 90 days service
