Part-time Armed Security Officer

HNS Recovery, a leading asset protection and recovery firm, is currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part-time Armed Security Officer for our Fort Worth Storage Yard. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises and assets, ensuring peace of mind for both our staff and clients.

Position Overview:
- Location: Fort Worth Storage Yard, Fort Worth, TX
- Schedule: Night Shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Work Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Contract Type: Part-time
- Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol the storage yard to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances to maintain the integrity of the facility.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety management and incident reporting.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or military police work.
- Valid armed security officer license and firearm proficiency certification.
- Strong understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
- Ability to act with integrity and professionalism in various situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security administration or similar field is a plus.
- Former law enforcement and qualified veteran personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.
