Grounds Maintenance Project Manager

Pugsley Services is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager for the management of a grounds maintenance project.  This role will focus on quality of work and customer satisfaction.  The ideal candidate will have experience in worker supervision and successful customer relationships in the landscaping industry.

Location: The candidate will reside locally within 45 minutes of Keokuk, IA

Compensation: Base plus Fringe

Responsibilities:

• Management and oversight of Mowing Crew and Field Work: Crew safety, quality of work performed, hands-on position working with crews when necessary to complete mow cycles, employee management, timekeeping, and meetings, scheduling, and quality control.

• Collaboration and Reporting: On-site representation of company, coordination with internal team, customer and Subcontractors. Recordkeeping, track accomplished work.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in project management, preferably within the landscaping industry
• Understand the process of managing alongside the customer
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently to achieve project success
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication skills
• Work in extreme weather conditions (hot/cold)
• Be able to lift 50lbs. on a daily basis

Education and Experience

• Landscape Tech Certification/landscaping experience a plus
• Minimum of 3 years project management experience
