What do we do? ATG connects thousands of auction houses, listing millions of items worth over $15 billion annually (and growing!), to buyers in over 170 countries around the world. These buyers generate over 100 million bids a year for our sellers, helping them achieve maximum value for the goods they sell. We help auctioneers sell everything from medieval swords to combine harvesters, paintings, and decorative art through to classic cars, furniture, and Caterpillar forklifts. We do this through 8 marketplaces that leverage our online auction technologies. We make auctioneers more efficient, we make small companies big by bringing them access to millions of bidders they could never find on their own, and we bring them technology they could never afford alone. We bring bidders choice of unique and specialized items, convenience, and trust. We do it all in a shared success model that accelerates growth of the circular economy and sustainable buying. About the opportunity: As a sales representative in our bidder operations department, you will play an integral role in shaping how ATG acquires, retains, and engages with our broad buyer base. You will introduce (and sometimes re-introduce) potential buyers to our marketplaces, and will be the face of our company to our top customers. You’ll work alongside a team that’s passionate about the value our company creates for buyers and sellers (and the planet) in the circular economy, and you’ll report to senior leadership that’s invested in your success. In addition to base salary, you’ll earn commission for every dollar you sell in an uncapped commission plan.

What your contributions will be:

• Meet daily activity metrics of 150 dials or 2.5 hours of talk time
• Cold call to both past and potential new customers, respond to inbound leads
• Become an expert in our company’s offering (no prior auction experience required)
• Relay our company’s value proposition to prospects in a succinct, confident, and compelling fashion
• Build rapport with prospects quickly to understand their “why” and get them to “yes”
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Continuously improve through feedback

What you will need for success:

• At least 1 year in an outbound sales role
