Summary:

Responsible for the leadership of all manufacturing and production functions. A proven leader, and professional that is system/data driven, yet hands on as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the manufacturing and production teams with the responsibility of manufacturing, filling, labeling, assembly, and packaging.
  • Experienced in manufacturing, production and managing large teams to deliver results in the operational areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Engagement.
  • Create operations procedures, specifications, and detailed work instructions for areas of calculating, forecasting, component usage, verifying product in and out of operations and visually inspection products for defects.
  • Establish, develop, and execute the appropriate manufacturing/operations strategic plan to support the organization's business and financial goals.
  • Formulate and implement strategic changes in manufacturing and operations that guide the organization, maintaining and improving competitive position, profitability, and conformance of products to established customer and company quality standards.
  • Participate with other leadership teams and staff members in the development and formulation of long and short-term range planning, programs, and objectives.
  • Lead to efforts to continuously improve manufacturing, operational excellence and define related performance metrics/tools.
  • Lead a high-performance workforce through effective talent management. Attract, coach, mentor and develop strong leaders within the organization and share ownership with the operations managers in the development of future talent pipeline.
  • Work with Quality, Engineering, Safety, Regulatory, and Supply Chain functions to establish inventory plans by product family/site; proactively manage inventory to profit plan, driving improved and sustainable processes.
  • Execute the Supply Demand Planning process, driving ownership and collaboration across stakeholder groups, meeting customer expectations and company profit plan objectives.
  • Interact with executive team and individual departments to ensure that the company’s operational priorities are aligned with total company directions.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required. MBA is desirable.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior management role.
  • Experience in ISO 13485 standard environments preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of standards of manufacturing technology, equipment, safety, organizational development/management, finance, and employee relations.
  • Manufacturing strategy development and execution
  • Experience in collaborating with Engineering to establish manufacturing and production automation.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership. Motivational, analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing networked PC’s using Windows, Microsoft D365 F&O or SAP.

Language Skills:

  • English required, bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Position requires walking, standing for prolonged periods, occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
