The Quality Engineer will be someone who enjoys working with cross-functional teams and has a customer-focused, quality first mindset. Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:

  • Supports the risk management process and associated documentation such as PPAP, PFMEA, First Article Inspection and AS9102/FAIR reports.
  • Support corrective action processes for both suppliers as well as internal and external customers in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate problems, implement corrective actions and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Requires excellent reasoning skills, and the ability to analyze statistical data to aid in problem-solving.
  • Perform inspections, tests, and audits on products, processes and systems to ensure compliance to Quality and ISO standards.
  • Coordinates training for production and quality teams on Quality Systems, ISO, IPC inspection, and ESD standards.

Requirements of the Quality Engineer:

  • Quality Engineer must have a 4-year technical degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement related role
  • Printed circuit board manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and soldering is a plus.
  • Requires exceptional computer skills, and experience using Microsoft Office applications, MS Access a plus.
  • Must be able to read and understand printed circuit board assembly documentation and component blueprints, as well as possess thorough knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes.
