One of the world's leading automotive seating manufacturers is looking for an IT Administrator to lead the Information Technology (IT) department. This is a Senior level IT Services & Solutions Analyst position.
Provide services and support to plant operations maximizing availability, performance, and efficiency. Focus on cost-effective solutions with a continuous improvement mindset.
Assists in coordinating, designing, building, integrating, developing, testing, and deploying infrastructure and/or application technology solutions. This job can assist in delivering IT services for the physical network, server applications, and software, through a broad range of tasks associated with event management, incident management, request fulfillment, access management, problem management, IT operations controls, and technical management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Consult with plant management on continuous improvement ideas and fulfill requests.
- Project Management or key team member of projects to deliver new initiatives and/or service improvements.
- Drive problem management resolution and permanent corrective actions.
- Provides key plant IT contact for internal and external Customers.
- Ensures company IT activities are communicated in a timely fashion to the plant leaders.
- Responsible for IT tasks related to launches and communicating updates at readiness reviews.
- Responsible for the daily operations of computer systems including but not limited to: Level 1 incident management; support for hardware, communications, networking, software and shop-floor systems at the manufacturing facility; escalate to next level support teams if applicable; monitor event management and administration of local IT Infrastructure.
- Manage access to IT services while complying with security and vulnerability standards.
- Ensure system backups are current and can be restored.
- Schedule and coordinate hardware and infrastructure installation with corporate and 3rd party suppliers.
- Maintain documentation of IT services, equipment, and procedures
- This role is 100% on site. Role may require ''after hours support'' which may be on site or at times can be remote access.
IT Infrastructure & Applications:
- Service Now (SNOW) ticketing system as well as asset tracking managing key system information
- Windows 10, Windows Server 2016-2022
- SQL Server 2016-2022
- ESXI VMware virtualization environment as well as VEEAM backup solutions
- Microsoft Office
- Dameware for remote access to systems
- Cisco and Fortinet networking equipment
- Verizon NOC for networking support and actions
- Local applications including:
- Windows based applications written in VB
- EDIMAT, centrally managed
- KAPP, centrally managed
- Specialized Vison hardware/software, vendor supported
- Dell and HP desktop and laptop hardware (Office and some workstations)
- OnLogic industrial workstations
- PowerBI tracking KPIs across
- Windows patching for both workstations and servers
- Tenable vulnerabilities management
- PC/Server refreshes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate or Technical Degree in IT related field.
- 4 - 6 years IT - related experience (to include 2 yrs Admin/ leadership experience.)
- Strong communication, analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to delegate and track multiple work streams.
- Desire to have broad responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic database knowledge and report writing skills.
- Continuous Improvement training.
Additional Information:
- Location: Greenfield OH on-site
- Duration: Contract gets extended every 6 months with high likelihood for long term assignment.
- Pay: $35.00/hr with health and dental benefit options
- Shift 8am-5pm with on call needs if issues arise
