Sr. Maintenance Technician

The Senior Maintenance Technician works within a facility management organization that provides a variety of operation and maintenance services within a 24/7/365 environment that includes non
-critical data environments and commercial office space. This position is responsible for the delivery of all contracted facility management services at assigned client locations. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Managing customer relationships, coordinating 3rd party service, directing assigned employees in day
-to
-day assignments, performing assigned maintenance tasks, and assisting with site level administrative tasks.

**Schedule: 7AM
-4:30PM**

Job Description:
*Perform PM"s, troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and installations on switchgears, PDUs, and other electrical equipment.
*Routinely interface with client contacts to address requests and coordinate services
*Act as liaison/coordinator for outside contractors as requested by client POC
*Perform routine safety audits and compliance inspections
*Manage the parts and materials inventory process
*Respond to a variety of trouble calls or work tickets such as, but not limited to, equipment installs, electrical outages, equipment testing, general plumbing, light carpentry work, basic HVAC, piping repairs, lighting issues while demonstrating strong customer service skills
*Ensure that PM"s and work orders assigned are completed and closed out in compliance with the provided schedule
*Responds to building system alarms to limit operation disruptions, minimize equipment or system damage, and participates in root cause analysis process
*Report all potential system/equipment problems to management and client POC immediately
*Lead the maintenance team"s site level safety program and promote a proactive safety culture
*Support and drive cleaning schedules throughout client properties
*Maintain and repair foam board walls throughout data centers as required and requested to support ongoing client initiatives.

:

*Must have flexibility in schedule to accommodate client"s needs. Some overtime is required. Schedule is to be between 7AM to 6PM.

Training & Education :

*Minimum of 7 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in a commercial or industrial environment
*Minimum of 2 year of experience in a supervisor role
*Associate degree or trade specific license preferred
*Demonstrated experience across multiple skilled trades especially electrical, mechanical, and PLC"s.
*Must have flexibility to work overtime and work on an on
-call basis, as may be dictated by the needs of the business
*Must possess a valid driver license
*Must pass a criminal background and MVR check Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
*Ability to work to in an environment with exposure to high temperatures, dust, and loud noises.
