Our client is searching for a part-time Accounting/Administrative Assistant for their small office located in Hempstead. This is a part-time and temporary position (2 days a week) that will handle accounting and administrative responsibilities for multiple family businesses and the salary range is $20-$22 per hour.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with bank reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation of financial statements for multiple entities.
- Assist with payroll when needed.
- Assist with credit card payments and reconciliations.
- Assist with tax preparation and organization.
- General filing and organization.
- Other special projects and general office duties.
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task and willing to help with anything and everything.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communicator (verbal and written).
- Attention to detail is a must.
