Job DescriptionCompany Description
Expanded Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
Perform various dental and office tasks including but not limited to assisting dentist with various dental procedures, mixing materials and ensuring proper sterilization for instruments and equipment
- · Chart and take x-rays
- Review dental records with patients, providing instruction on postoperative procedures
- · Support doctor and office team with assigned tasks including scheduling future treatment
- · Strong organizational skill and people skills
- · Prepare and breakdown operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient visit
- · Ensure all OSHA and dental board policies and procedures are properly followed
- · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, positive attitude
- · Ability to make temporary crown/bridges
- · Reliable, dependable and punctual
- · Current radiology license
- · Maintain annual OSHA, HIPPA and Infection control training as required by law
- · Have CPR certification
