About Us: Kelly has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Aurora, OH who is committed to excellence in producing high-quality products. 


Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient management of materials used in the production process and lead the material handling personnel. The Warehouse Supervisor will collaborate closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, optimize material flow, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our manufacturing operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the materials team in all day-to-day activities, ensuring organization, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accuracy and organization of all parts inventory, overseeing cycle count programs and annual physical inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Materials Manager and Planner/Buyers to monitor shortage reports and Kanban requirements.
  • Manage documentation and organization practices related to materials, including scrap processes, waste records, labeling, and RMAs.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, overseeing receipt, loading, and handling of paperwork.
  • Supervise material handlers in all activities from receipt of material to final shipment, ensuring seamless production line feeding.
  • Cultivate a safe and efficient work environment within the team, emphasizing adherence to material procedures and policies.
  • Monitor inventory and transactions to support departmental objectives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, including 1+ years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and ERP processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to operate machinery used by the team (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, mobile manlift, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills with attention to detail.
  • Process-driven mindset and dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Availability to work 1st or 2nd shift as this role covers both shifts.
