First-line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers, Journeyman

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or a qualifying substitution in an engineering, technical, business, or computer science/IT discipline
• Acquire a Top Secret level clearance 90 days from award
• Ability to supervise first line engineering technicians
• Solid coordination skills in order to work between first-line techs and the customer
• Ability to track tasking using project schedules, cost estimates, and work breakdown structures
• Solid communication skills
• Solid organization for team leading and work progress tracking

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• At least one year of experience in supervising deployed personnel
• Experience with developing schedules, managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and cost estimates

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of production and operating workers such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators
• Interfaces with customer and developing schedules, cost estimates, Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs), and work descriptions
• 0-100% CONUS/OCONUS travel required
