Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
Pay is based on experience. Lower experience range is $20.49 - $26.36. With several years of experience, we could consider CNC Specialist with a range of $27.63 - $35.54.

What’s a typical day as a CNC Operator? You’ll be:
• Reading complex blueprints
• Utilizing mathematics skills, including geometry and trigonometry
• Operating precision measuring equipment, such as micrometers and verniers
• Familiar with tool names and tools used in the trade
• Accurately positioning and securing tooling clamps and chucks into CNC equipment
• Programming, setting up, and running CNC machines
• Inspecting and ensuring machining conforms to blueprint specifications
• Setting up and indicating tooling into a CNC lathe

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrating care and safety in all operations
• Performing other duties as required by departmental needs and/or special projects

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a CNC Operator on Mills and Lathes
• Are trainable and work well with other personnel
• Possess good communication skills
• Have a working knowledge of manual mills, lathes, and grinders
