Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe located in Conroe, Texas. HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is a 340 bed acute care facility with Level II trauma certification, rehab unit, bariatric program, and NICU.

 

Position reports to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will:

 

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide diet education to patients
• Educate patients and family members as well as facility staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modification
• Participates in multi-disciplinary team conferences and is a great team player
• Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be involved with patient education
• Participates in the nutrition care for critical care population
• Assumes the role of the primary dietitian for NICU
• Assists CNM on any additional projects and assignments as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
