Student Surgical Tech - Surgical Services

Summary:

Performs, under the direction of an RN, all processes that relate to the delivery and assistive patient care in the O. R. before and during any surgical procedure.

Our Perioperative department does approximately 5 to 15 cases a day plus outpatient IV therapy. We perform OB/GYN cases, Endoscopy, Laparoscopic Procedures, Cataracts, and Ortho. We have great teamwork and excel with patient satisfaction scores. Patient Safety and Patient Satisfaction are No. 1. Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Student currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Previous experience in patient care through fundamental classes in the Surgical Technology program
• CPR (American Heart Association) required
