Summary Assist Tool room in light machining duties by performing the following duties

Hours: 1st Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm, La Grange

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop and fabricate tooling as assigned
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications
• Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings
• Perform projects assigned by Tool Die/Mold Maker Journeypersons
• Assist Tool room CNC programmer set up, run and install programs on CNC equipment
• Create tooling and fixturing for Manufacturing Engineers
• Perform preventative maintenance or department machinery and equipment
• Maintain and update E-Maint program

Education and/or Experience

• One-year certificate from college or technical school
• Or three to six months related experience and/or training
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience in addition to Journeyperson designation
