Manager, Commercial Finance - Now Hiring

Position Overview:

 

The Manager, Commercial Finance serves as a business partner to our Merchandising, Marketing, Design, and Sales focused teams. Partners as a strategic partner to help the guide the business through data led decision making and financial analysis. Integrates consumer, competitive, and market information to drive insights and business recommendations.

The position will be based in our corporate headquarters, near Madison, WI, but it will offer a hybrid work arrangement allowing the flexibility to work a few days a week from home.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Work with multiple functions to achieve desired profitability and sales goals through an analysis of daily sales, supplier funding, and support, development/implementation of new item pricing, oversee price increase analysis
• Consumer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align consumer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in driving business outcomes.
• Create reporting metrics and analyze various data related to company performance; determine opportunities for improvement in areas such as inventory closeouts, pricing/programming strategy, supplier Revenue & Gross Margin/brand mix
• Manage brand pricing strategy, deal approval, and pricing reporting functions; track results and prepare recommendations, ROI analysis, and presentations.
• Integrate data from industry trends, market & competition with financial performance to analyze product, price, margin options, and make recommendations.
• Analyze business metrics/data for key insights to proactively identify risks and opportunities and forward-looking actions.
• Tracks, reports on and manages the overall financial performance of the business lines and brands.
• Ability to build, lead and extend the reach of high performing teams

What We’re Looking For: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Experience with P&L responsibility, financial planning in the consumer goods, retail or wholesale industry; or related work experience with an industry supplier and wholesaler.
• Demonstrated knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Analyze historical financial trends, forecast revenue & KPIs, and implement strategic initiatives to improve business  performance.
• 7+ years of experience years of experience.
• 1+ years of management experience  mentoring and training team, may be in a team lead capacity.

Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000/Year

 

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
