Trust and Estate Paralegal

LHH is looking for a Direct Hire Trust and Estates Paralegal for a firm in St Louis.

Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with the probate process, including opening/closing estates, e-filing, preparing accountings, and handling asset transfers.
- Assisting with trust process, including funding, administration, and notices.
- Assisting with the preparation of basic estate planning documents and related trust funding.
- Assisting with the preparation of estate tax returns, gift tax returns, individual and fiduciary income tax returns.
- Communicating with clients and advisors.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:
- 3+ years of probate, trust, and tax experience.
- General understanding of estate planning principles and trust funding procedures.
- Knowledge of beneficiary designation forms and ability to coordinate with clients' financial advisors.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good judgment.
- Ability to manage high volume priorities while working with others to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, especially when working with clients.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
