Analytical Laboratory Technician

Location: Charles City, IA onsite
Salary: $20-$22/hr. Depends on experience.
Job Type: Long-term
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM. Flexibility available.

Job Summary:
Daily testing of samples received from production. Timely completion of test to meet the established testing time. Following GMP documentation guidelines. Basic problem-solving skills and demonstrate trouble shooting ability. Contribute to the team's productivity goals. The colleague should have the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Position Requirements:

• Testing of samples from manufacturing to ensure Quality and compliance according to all applicable assays utilizing good aseptic practices.
  
• Maintaining testing schedules and reagent supply
  
• Completion of documentation following cGMP guidelines
  
• Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, instrumentation, and facility.
  
• Understanding of the QC software packages used during routine work.
  
• Understanding of how to use pipettes.
  
• Preparation of media and reagents
  
• Understanding of dilution schemes
  
• Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds.
  

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BA/BS in science related field or AA with one year of experience, preferred.
  
• High School Diploma/GED with experience gathering data and proficient in Microsoft Excel required.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
