Director of Surgical Services - Washington State (Staffing Opportunity through Soliant Health)

Soliant Health, in partnership with a leading healthcare facility in Chelan, WA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Surgical Services to join their team in a beautiful setting surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.

Position Summary:

As the Director of Surgical Services, you will be at the forefront of providing excellent, safe, and evidence-based patient care throughout our Surgery and Perioperative Services. You will collaborate closely with other patient care teams and providers to ensure the highest standards of care.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Ensure safe patient care by managing evidence-based patient safety practices consistently.
2. Effectively manage the business of perioperative services including budgeting, productivity, and quality improvement initiatives.
3. Lead the caregiver team effectively through recruitment, development, and performance management.
4. Demonstrate personal and professional accountability through continued growth, ethical behavior, and collaboration with other teams.
5. Create and maintain a healing environment in the perioperative services arena, focusing on patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State of Washington.
2. BSN required or agrees to enroll in an accredited program within one year of hire.
3. Current Healthcare Provider CPR; Current ACLS and PALS certifications or must obtain within 3 months.
4. Minimum four years experience in peri-operative setting, with minimum two years experience in OR as circulating and/or scrub RN.
5. CNOR certification required or must obtain within 12 months.
6. Minimum two years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
7. Experience in building surgical volumes and/or operating room construction projects highly preferred.
