Senior Manager, Sales and Delivery Operations

US Remote

Primary Purpose

Emmes is growing and looking for a motivated individual who can help support our growing sales team! In addition to performing administrative tasks alongside our sales representatives, this role will help with Technology Delivery and sales operations projects. The role will play a key bridge between Sales and Delivery of Technology Implementations.


Responsibilities

  • Provide support and respond to inquiries from the global Sales team on sales processes, tools, and general sales activities

  • Ensure the integrity of customer information maintained in the CRM system

  • Process purchase orders in relevant internal systems and forward them for final review and invoicing.

  • Software License Management

  • Identify ways to increase sales and operational efficiency through enablement, procedure enhancements, and automation.

  • Contribute to and work with the Sales Operations team on other special projects including training, documentation, and sales reporting

  • Prepare and coordinate meetings and proposals

  • Lead key initiatives that may involve product updates, enhancement requests, defect resolution for customer success

  • Coordinate Sales to delivery transition for key technology sales and contracts


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in scientific, engineering or business field

  • Minimum of 15 years of technology implementation/delivery and sales experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with technology, cloud, network, integration and cloud platforms for cloud

  • IT Program Management with Agile/PMP/SDLC methodologies is a must. Large scale experience is desired

  • Knowledge of clinical trials, clinical research, and the life sciences industry dynamics and issues is desired

  • CRM knowledge and practical experience is desired

  • Technology Project Delivery Management, Account Management

  • Technology Infrastructure including on-prem, cloud, data center, applications management

  • Public / Private / Hybrid Cloud Management Services

  • Strong Client Engagement and Management experience

  • Experience in growing accounts with cross selling and up-selling

  • ITSM / ITIL Practices, SLA/KPI Management

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

  • Strong sense of customer focus, being able to meet the needs of internal and external customers, understanding customer requirements, and responding appropriately in line with business objectives

  • Strong sense of IT project delivery, task management, vendor, client and internal coordination

  • A creative, analytical, and intuitive coordinator with strong attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to work autonomously on individual projects as well as in a team.

  • Ability to create strong working relationships, processes, and outcomes; adept at working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
