About the Contract
  • Full range of modernized Enterprise IT-related services and technical recommendations to provide USCENTCOM with Next-generation infrastructure services (cloud and end-to-end automation) at HQ in Tampa Florida, as well as supporting CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Scope includes enterprise IT operations and maintenance, telephony, cable and communications infrastructure systems and server maintenance, customer- facing and desktop services, audio/visual and wireless technology, executive communications services, IT training, software and network engineering, defensive cyber operations, cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and IT services

HOW A Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Technician WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Spectrum Analyst / Technician:
  • Researches, develops, validates, utilizes, analyzes, and assesses all Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) tools and capabilities within the USCENTCOM electromagnetic operational environment.
  • They will provide EMS services to develop Radio Frequency Authorizations (RFAs) to evaluate and analyze RF; assigns authorized RFs in Spectrum 21 (SXXI), as approved by the host nation.
  • Performs analysis and investigation of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) incidents and analyzes new spectrum-dependent systems to assess spectrum supportability.
  • Reviews the SXXI database to consider constraints or conflicts while performing assessments.
  • Documents and maintains spectrum supportability assessments as required for official correspondence.
  • Enters final approved spectrum supportability assessments into the appropriate DoD systems for official submission.
  • Represents USCENTCOM through collaboration with the service components to identify EMS deploying to the AOR and JSC. Provides technical expertise to Government personnel for all EMS functions prior to military deployment.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline with
Required Experience: 5+ years of experience managing EMS in the Department of Defense (DoD)

Required Skills:
  • Experience with Spectrum XXI (SXXI) process and tools
  • Experience with the Joint Spectrum Database Repository
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships
  • Good interpersonal, analytical, and communication (written and verbal) skills


Desired Skills:
  • Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission
  • Experience working with Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Online (HNSWDO)
  • Experience using Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution Online (JSIRO)
  • Familiarity with Fusion Analysis & Development (FADE)
  • Experience coordinating with the Joint Frequency Management Office (JFMO)


Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI eligibility required
Location: MacDill AFB Tampa, FL On Customer Site
