Prairie AquaTech Manufacturing, LLC dba Houdek is a manufacturing company based in Volga South Dakota that is improving animal health and nutrition by providing high-quality feed ingredients. Using patent-pending technologies licensed on a worldwide, exclusive basis from South Dakota State University and developed internally, the Company is upgrading soybean meal to high-quality ingredients used in aquaculture and other animal feeds.

JOB DUTIES

As a key member of the Customer Service Team team, this role will report to the Director of Supply Chain and will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on products, services, and policies.
  • Answer incoming domestic and international customer inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain accurate customer account records.
  • Communicate with customers via email and/or phone to provide timely updates on products and services as needed
  • Work closely with logistics and regulatory teams to prepare export documentation and track international shipments
  • Understand and support quality, safety, and regulatory standards for domestic and international product orders
  • Record customer information and feedback and provide details to applicable team members
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Coordinate with sales and regulatory to manage requests, documentation, and tracking of all product sample requests
  • Maintain effective work relationships with all Houdek personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Preferred 5+ years of experience in a customer service role
  • Experience in the animal nutrition industry a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and take on challenges in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
