Mill Maintenance - GV

Description/Job Summary

Schedule: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, overtime and call -outs as needed.

Job Summary: Responsible for maintenance and construction of facilities used to store, dry and mill rice products in addition to grounds preparation and concrete construction. Successful applicants should be aware of construction site safety rules and able to contribute in a team based work environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Construction, millwright, and/or industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Must be willing and able to cut, weld, and operate machinery such as forklifts and sky tracks
• Must possess extensive skills in hand and power tools
• Must be willing to lift up to 110 lbs.
• Must be willing to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull, and crawl throughout the day
• Must be willing to ride man-lifts
• Must be willing to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet
• Must be willing to tolerate working in hot and cold temps for extended periods of time
• Must be willing to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
• Must be available for call-outs at all times and be able to respond within 35 minutes
• Must be able to do basic math (+,-,*, /) and read a tape measure
• Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
