Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers is looking to add a compassionate member to work out of our Lebanon, OH location.

In this role, you will provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff who work with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervises adult mental health staff by assigning tasks, overseeing work assignments, reviewing work, providing direction, resolving work problems and determining performance standards. Provides direct client care when staff vacancies or extended leave of absence exist. Conducts annual employee evaluations and recommends pay increases and promotions. Grants sick time and other leaves and authorizes overtime. Provides written reports to Program Director of staff compliance, concerns, and recommendations.
  • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations planning, monitoring and appraising job performance. Maintains authority by maintaining responsibility for developing, approving, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures and quality standards.
  • Confers and collaborates with social service agencies, community resource committees, medical professionals and others. Corresponds with referral source by attending meetings, writing memos and communicating by telephone.
  • Seeks input from other professionals by presenting and reviewing client cases and obtaining alternative ideas for treatment. Attends supervisor, team and other meetings and participates in committee groups. Facilitates team meetings.
  • When indicated, provides emotional support by interacting with client face to face. Ensures progress by monitoring emotional and mental health, level of functioning, medications, psychiatric appointments, treatment plans and other areas of personal living.
  • Carries own caseload by facilitates individual, family and group therapy sessions by utilizing counseling skills and techniques. Conducts therapy sessions by community face-to-face or by leading family or group sessions. Educates client regarding diagnosis and treatment plan. Resolves issues by discussing concerns, problems and progress.
  • Work with the Clinical Director to manage the program.
  • Coordinates with other Associate Directors for client care..


Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health or a closely related field
  • 3 to 5 years progressively responsible related experience.
  • Independent licensure by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board required. .
  • The ability to respond promptly to emergency or crisis situations.
  • Understanding and compassion for both clients and family members.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up in a timely manner.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptable to teaching various learning styles.
