Electrical Maintenance Journeyman - Full-time / Part-time

Maintenance Journeyman - 3rd shift

Shift: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Sunday - Thursday)

Location: Leeds, AL

Pay Range: $32.00 - $34.46 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Journeyman to join our team for the 3rd shift. This role involves multi-craft maintenance responsibilities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment during operating shifts.  The successful candidate will have expertise in general electrical work, machine repair, and possess the ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot critical equipment failures promptly.
• Repair AC & DC motors and control circuits.
• Interpret electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation drawings.
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLC and/or  DCS hardware, software, and controls
• Maintain 480/240 volt 3 phase MCC and power distribution systems
• Install and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic industrial equipment
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

What’s Needed?

• Previous maintenance experience in an industrial environment
• Demonstrated stable work history
• Ability to work in varying  temperature conditions 
• Proficient in industrial electrical systems
• Strong problem solving skills
• High school diploma required
