Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team. Our client, a global leader in advanced polymers, seeks a passionate Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their Tennessee plant. In this key role, you'll leverage your expertise to identify, develop, and implement process improvements across the company, driving efficiency, quality, safety, and cost savings.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and implement Kaizen events and other improvement initiatives, streamlining operations and maximizing output.

  • Analyze production data, KPIs, and trends to uncover opportunities for optimization, creating informative dashboards for data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaborate with diverse departments to implement lean principles (5S, value stream mapping) and achieve operational excellence.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to optimize processes, establishing clear KPIs and visual controls.

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.

  • Benchmark best practices and incorporate innovative improvement methodologies into the company's strategies.

  • Convey complex ideas to diverse audiences, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of adding financial value, streamlining processes, increasing production, and improving quality.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

  • 5+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, ideally with Kaizen knowledge.

  • Expertise in lean manufacturing principles, process improvement, and data analysis.

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry standards.

  • Proficiency in process modeling, data analysis tools, and mapping techniques.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and leadership abilities for cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
