Summary of Position

This position is responsible for inspection and quality control for the production facility; this includes new trailers, trailer fabrication shop, AE and painting. This position must work with other shop supervisors to ensure trailers and other equipment meets customer specifications and Texas Trailer ISO requirements. It is the responsibility of this position to maintain a high work ethic for himself and employees under his supervision. This position will report to the operations manager.

Responsibilities of the Position:

  1. Assist to ensure customer and Texas Trailer specifications are being meant
  2. Assist QC department in ISO 9000 policies and procedures are being meant
  3. Maintains safe working environment
  4. Maintains and enforces company policies and procedures
  5. Attends required production meetings
  6. Attentions monthly and quarterly safety meetings
  7. Performs in process and final inspections to include monitoring daily workmanship/adheres to quality
  8. Notifies supervisor of all deviations that may occur
  9. Assist with production schedule on a daily basis ensure smooth work flow
  10. Work in other areas of the facility at the direction of the area supervisor efficiently and effectively while maintaining good team building skills
  11. Assist in training on company policies and procedures
  12. Assist with best practices between Weldship and TTC
  13. Replace company tools in their designated locations that are needed for best practices
  14. Assists with special projects as needed
