Radiology Technician

Stallant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technician to join our team on a part-time or PRN (as needed) basis. This unique opportunity is perfect for those looking to contribute a few days a month to start, with the potential for increased involvement over time. Radiology Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to radiation protection standards.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, providing clear instructions to ensure accurate and effective results.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, and assist radiologists in image interpretation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct equipment checks and routine maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and support to patients.
• Participate in continuous education and training opportunities to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• Valid state license as a Radiology Technician, where applicable.
• Previous experience in radiology or a similar role, preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of radiologic safety and protection principles.
• Proficiency in using various types of radiologic equipment and technology.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain procedures to patients clearly and compassionately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
