Automation Personnel Services is looking for several Hospitality Assistants for a hospital based in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for preparing, delivering and retrieving patient meal trays, providing individualized assistance to each patient, hospitality rounds, and nourishment services.

Pay Rate
$14.00 per hour

$2.50 per hour shift premium based on hours worked ($16.50 per hour)

Schedule and Hours
Full and part time opportunities

5:30am-7:00pm shift availability

Must be available on weekends

Hospitality Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
• Delivers meals to patients within ten minutes of food cart arriving to floor and identifies each patient using two patient identifiers
• Identifies each patient by asking name and date of birth before serving food
• Greets each patient according to customer service standards and offers individualized assistance with meal tray, receiving no complaints from patients or staff
• Appropriately handles all off-schedule trays, discharged patient trays, guest trays, courtesy trays and isolation trays while following universal precautions
• Delivers nourishment’s to patients in timely manner

Hospitality Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum of two years in food service with health care experience preferred
• Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow the standards of federal, state and regulatory agencies and JCAHO for sanitation, food preparation and handling
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Must be able to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality.

• Drug screen and background check required
