Job Description
Animal Emergency Center is an AAHA-Accredited Emergency Hospital located in Watsontown, PA. We are searching for full-time Veterinary Technicians and assistants to provide high quality patient care and high quality service to our clients. Experience is required.
Applicants should be proficient with:
- obtaining vital signs
- animal restraint
- IV catheter placement
- venipuncture
- digital radiology techniques
- in-house blood analyzers/lab procedures
- monitoring anesthesia
Applicants must be able to work in a fast paced environment, and work well both independently and as part of a team. In addition to strong technical skills, a positive attitude and excellent client communication skills are a must. Must be eager to learn, as you will be trained to use our advanced diagnostic equipment. Must be reliable, and display a professional demeanor amongst clients and colleagues.
