A high tech RF fast-growing Company located in Ronkonkoma NY that serves the military electronics markets, has an opening for an Electronics Assembler. In this position the individual will be responsible for assembly of custom electronic components for high reliability applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly of printed circuit boards, cable and harness assembly and be certified to military standard IPC-610. A soldering examination will be part of the hiring process. The specific job duties will consists of the following:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
- Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to blueprint specifications.
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Perform tests on finished products before packaging
- Maintain inventory of products in workstations.
SKILLS:
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, parts lists, work instructions, work order travelers, and drawings with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform simple measurements with scales, calipers, various gauges, and hand micrometers.
- Ability to utilize handheld tools such as tweezers, jigs, fixtures, crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
- Must be attentive to details.
- Good communication skills, both oral and in written form.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Working knowledge and understanding of schematics.
- Experience with epoxy applications.
- Experience in Circuit Card Manufacturing.
CITIZENSHIP: US Citizenship required
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
CERTIFICATION: Certification to military standard IPC-610
