We are seeking ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­a Marine Outside Machinist to become part of our team!
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Maintenance, repair, and installation of ships propulsion and auxiliary systems. (Steam, Gas, Diesel, Rudders, Steering gear, elevators, and deck equipment) 
  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of ships fluid systems. (Pumps, compressors, purifiers, heat exchangers, actuators, and valves) 
  • Analyze defects and repair electrical mechanical systems of outboard motors. 
  • Replace parts such as gears, magneto points, piston rings, and spark plugs 
 
Requirements for this role include:
 
  • Minimum of 5 years of marine/ or shipyard experience preferred 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics 
  • Ability to pass a background check for base access (DBIDS) 
  • Can work at heights or in confined spaces
