Job Description
Job Title: Intake and Assessment Supervisor
Base: Harmony Bay Wellness
Direct Report: Director of Integrated Services
Job Purpose Summary:
Overview of Intake and Assessment Supervisor job functions which include clinical and administrative oversight of licensed Intake and Assessment Clinicians:
1. Direct Supervision of Clinicians
- Facilitate and document individual and group clinical supervision
- Leading weekly clinical meetings
- Therapist coaching and training e.g. Performance reviews, corrective action, case conceptualization
- Oversight of clinician schedule, capacity, and referral to services.
2. Direct Care to Clients
· 2-4 psychotherapy sessions or Intake Assessments per week.
· Providing emergency back-up coverage for Intake Clinicians.
3. Administration
- On call responsibilities
- Onboarding/Training of newly hired Intake and Assessment Clinicians
- Review and sign associate licensed clinician notes in EHR within 72 hours of submission.
- Intake and Assessment Clinician Training
4. Leadership, Management and Accountability
- Maintain the mission and values of the company and leading team members to complete tasks that bring them close to the achievement of these goals.
- Enforcing quality standards and providing valuable feedback to team and upper management on potential improvements.
- Resolving conflicts and complaints from employees and clients.
- Analyzing information and processes and developing more effective and efficient processes and strategies.
- Generating reports and presenting information to upper management and other parties as directed or monitor team performance and report on metrics.
- Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere.
- Effectively communicate with team regarding performance.
- Identification of training needs and provide coaching.
- Plan and organize team activities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible and accountable for team’s success as measured by Key Performance Indicators.
- Leveraging KPI data and reporting weekly.
- Provide individual and group supervision.
- Respond to emails from staff within a 24-hour time frame.
- Facilitate and participate in weekly meetings.
- Ensure all supervisees complete the required trainings as mandated by state regulations and Joint Commission Standards.
- Communicate and train clinicians on changes/updates to policy and procedure and ensure staff-wide compliance.
- Completion of monthly chart audits to ensure accuracy of clinical documentation.
- Conduct timely performance evaluations according to regulations for all supervised staff.
- Training and onboarding of new clinicians.
- Manage all time off requests and administrative functions relating to supervising team.
- Ensuring coverage of staff when needed.
- Other duties as assigned to meet client, staff and employer needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Required education: Master’s Degree and Full Licensure in state of practice, Supervisor credentialed at time of hire or within 1 year of offer acceptance.
Required experience: 1+ years’ experience at a supervisory level working in a Mental Health Treatment Facility or training in lieu of.
