Support Worker - Lawn ServicesThomasville, GA | Temp to Perm | $10.00 / HourA service and specialized care facility is looking for a part-time support worker to help individuals learn day to day tasks, like lawn care, we might take for granted not having cognitive disorders. This will not be a lawn care position but rather a supportive position for assistance in correcting behaviors, modifying techniques, and monitoring for safety. You will be expected to take ownership of your position, completing tasks in a timely manner and treating the client with care.
Responsibilities

- Help those with cognitive disorders with learning lawn maintenance
- Occasional mowing, weed eating, and bush trimming
- Demonstrate how something should be done
- Additional duties as requested by the supervisor
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be able to lift and move 50 pounds independently
- Have decent attention to details
- Be compassionate and have well developed teaching abilities
- Be able to follow all policies and procedures outlined by agency
- Have a dependable vehicle
- Dress in business casual attire
- Be compassionate and able to multitask
- Pass a background check
