What You Should Know About the DME Coordinator Role:

  • This is a FT day shift position, 3-12hr shifts, 7am-7pm with every 3rd weekend rotation
  • We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end of life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.

Key Responsibilities of the DME Coordinator Role:

    • Serve as the main supply contact for questions, requests and/or changes pertaining to DME.
    • Answers all requests for DME in an efficient and timely manner.
    • Expedites DME delivery and pickups as necessary.
    • Works independently with staff to problem solve and avoid patient issues concerning DME.
    • Audits and maintains files as required by accrediting body to support the DME processes and meet regulatory standards.
    • Assists in other activities and departments when requested.

DME Coordinator Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Two years or more experience in data entry
    • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and communicate effectively.
    • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather
    • Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
    • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
