Salary: $55k - $110k

Summary

Primarily responsible for the design, planning, and oversight of civil construction projects, ensuring safe and timely project completion within budget.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education –Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related area.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in civil construction engineering or related roles.
  • EIT certification, engineering licensure or working towards licensure is an advantage.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with construction related documentation, submittals, drawings, reports, etc.
  • Knowledge of subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering and construction software.
  • Microsoft office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.


Essential Functions

  • Involved in the design, planning, and oversight of civil construction projects ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Prepare, review, and modify civil engineering plans and designs.
  • Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and architectural teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
  • Promptly identify and resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, construction codes, and safety regulations
  • Review and maintain compliance with government regulations and ordinances.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
