Dishwasher Part-Time

JOB OBJECTIVE: Responsible to clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment/utensils and assist in setting and clearing of restaurant tables under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager and the Food and Beverage Director.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans, using dishwashers or three-compartment sink by hand.
  1. Clean tableware
• Operate dish machine including proper use of chemicals and temperature accuracy.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
• Sort and remove trash, placing in designated pickup areas.
• Sweep and/or scrub floors in kitchen; assist in general cleaning duties as directed.
• Assist with food preparation, as directed.
• Other duties deemed necessary by supervisor, manager, or Director.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimal work experience.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds.

Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
