Part-Time Retail Associate


The Part-Time Jewelry Retail Associate at Hitched is responsible for providing customers with an excellent in-store shopping experience and overall customer service that the Hitched brand is known for. The role focuses on aiding the showroom retail team with driving showroom appointments, managing appointment flow, and showroom upkeep in between appointments.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Assist in setup and breakdown of the showroom floor on a daily basis
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized showroom floor and storage room
  • Prepare the showroom in between each appointment
  • Check-in customers, manage appointment and walk in flow, and greet customers
  • Maintain a sanitized, polished, and organized product display and try-on inventory
  • Provide a warm welcome to customers and give them the Hitched overview
  • Demonstrate knowledge of product and company to close sales
  • Determine customers' needs based on preference, lifestyle, timeline, and budget
  • Suggest additional merchandise such as silicone rings and wedding day gifts
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout the appointment
  • Facilitate the checkout process and package same-day purchases with care
  • Invite purchasing customers to take a celebratory photo and congratulate them


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent Hitched at ongoing wedding expos and industry events
  • Provide phone support to customers
  • Perform other internal and showroom duties as needed
  • A passionate advocate of the Hitched brand
  • Experienced in resolving unsatisfied customer issues or misunderstandings
  • Experienced in face-to-face, phone, and email communication etiquette
  • Available to work evenings and weekends on a Part-Time basis
  • Willing to go above and beyond
