Job Title: Embedded Software engineer

Location: Portage, Michigan (On site)

Job Description:

• Person needs to work at MI from day one.
• Person with Electrical or Electronics background better suited for customer project.
• Bachelor's degree completed in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline and 5+ years of work experience in Embedded Software Development
• Proficient C/C++ programming language experience
• Real-time system design with FreeRTOS or similar RTOS
• Familiarity with Digital I/O, Analog I/O, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
• Experience in interfacing with MEMS.
• Prior embedded brushed and brushless motor control experience
• Control systems/PID/FOC experience.
• ARM Cortex-M familiarity.
• Software profiling/optimization
• Software builds automation knowledge (CI/CD)
• Requirements management experience (Cockpit or similar tool)
• Test strategy, verification experience.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304
