Job Description
We are seeking CNC Set-up Machinist Employees for 2st shift. Our shift hours are 3pm –1130pm, Mon-Fri. with mandatory overtime and Saturdays as needed.

The CNC Set-up Machinist must have good knowledge of G&M codes, as well as understanding programs for light programing changes at the machine. Must be able to read print and maintain machine offset to keep parts in tolerance. Must be able to perform quick set-ups accurately and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Set-up and manage 3 and 5 axis CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, and milling.
· Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
· Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary changes to produce improved results.
· Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
· Ensure the results of the machining process align with expectations.
· Conduct regular CNC machine assessments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience as a CNC machine operator or a 2 years of trade school education
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering designs
- Great attention to detail
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities
- Good computer and mathematical skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Hands on experience with different manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines
- In depth knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
