Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Server Standards and Management - Ownership of server standards and detailed build processes
• Capacity management and reporting - Build regular reports showing current usage of various platforms
• License management - Primarily Microsoft volume and enterprise agreements
• Maintain and improve infrastructure to support services driving operational excellence and innovation
• Lead a large part of the documentation repository
• Identify pending hardware and software EOL and build mitigation plans
• Lead all aspects of the daily operations of the Azure cloud environment, ensuring efficient performance and security
• Handle Azure Active Directory (AD) to maintain user access controls and identity management
• Coordinate VMware environments including set-up maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance
• Handle Citrix Xen Server administration focusing on delivering a seamless virtual desktop experience to our users
• Perform Windows Server administration tasks including updates patches and security configurations
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Proactively identify and implement improvements in our infrastructure to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Monitor system performance tackle issues and ensure disaster recovery processes are in place
• Document infrastructure changes and maintain a knowledge base for internal use

Position Qualifications:

• At least 8 - 10 years of work experience.
• Required skills: Azure AD, Azure, VMware Administration, Windows Server Admin, and Citrix Xen Server administration
• Have a background in IT systems and process documentation and library management
• Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and infrastructure as a service (IaaS)

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 04/26/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
