We are looking for a bilingual Dental Hygienist to use dental instruments and hygiene equipment, performing dental prophylaxis and scaling and root planning. This position will be full-time and onsite. 

What You’ll Do

  • Instruct patients in preventive dental techniques

  • Assisting a high number of patients as required

  • Ability to work with dentists, assistants, student assistants and volunteers

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Ability to speak and understand English

  • Must pass level 2 background, drug screen and MVR

  • Must have an active Florida Dental Hygienist License, in good standing

  • Current/active CPR certificate

  • Experience working as a dental hygienist using dental instruments, performing dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning

  • Ability to instruct patients in preventive dental techniques

  • Ability to multi-task and exceptional time management to handle a high number of patients

Preferred:

  • Experience with Pediatric patients

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal

  • Experience using EagleSoft and HMS computer systems

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
