Description:

Inside Sales Agents are responsible for utilizing best in class call center technology to contact Independent Home customers who have requested information about a walk-in tub or safety shower via our various different marketing channels. The primary objective of an agent is to convert a conversation into an opportunity for one of our Comfort Consultants to meet the customer(s) in their home to discuss our product offerings and financing options. This is a highly incentivized, high volume sales environment where there are daily and weekly performance expectations that must be met. The ideal candidate will have prior sales, customer service, or collections experience. They will be personable, confident, articulate, and have a confident phone voice.

• Outbound dial interested customers and engage with them using personality, charm, wit, and product knowledge, in the goal of earning their trust and setting an appointment for a comfort consultant to visit their home and pitch our product. Appointment setters are considered sales representatives so an assumptive and assertive sales approach is expected.

• Maintain availability for inbound calls for customers who funnel to us directly from our website or via a customer referral, and set an appointment for an in-home consultation when appropriate. Route non-appointment setting calls to customer service or support when required.

• Manage individual performance and ensure quotas are met

• Document each and every customer interaction in our CRM (Salesforce), demonstrating a strong written word and utilizing professional language.

• Exemplify a positive, uplifting, and competitive environment with peers and supervisors. Participate in gamification and team meeting opportunities.

• Be an advocate for growth, by openly asking for feedback during regularly scheduled one-on-ones with supervisors.

• Goal is to get the customer to agree the customer to schedule an appt in 72 hrs, confirm a process to confirm the process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Hospitality Industry: A customer first attitude and conversational tone is important for success. Representatives who previously worked as a server, bartender, hostess, hotel clerk etc. may be well suited for the role.

• Ability to listen

• Sales- Inside Sales Representatives are “selling” appointments. Representatives who previously worked in sales are more likely to be initially successful in this role than those who have no prior sales experience. They may have sold time shares, solar, high-end retail or even in the home services industry

but no longer want the wear and tear of the drive time/effort required of a more traditional sales representative.

• Conversational- The best representatives are engaging with the customers.

• Relatable- Relating to and building rapport with the customer is important

• Positive attitude- It is of vital importance that the individual in this role does not get easily discouraged.

• Self-directed-We are in the early stages of building a remote workforce at Independent Home

Candidates must be available to work 7:00am- 2:30pm Mon-Fri & and 10am-2pm Sat/Sun Arizona Time.
