Job Summary: Seeking a Quality Control Engineer with expertise in AS9100 or ISO9000 quality systems and proficiency in developing work instructions for QC inspections, among other requirements.
Job Requirements:
- AS9100 or ISO9000 quality systems proficiency.
- Ability to develop work instructions for QC inspections.
- Experience with FAI/PPAP processes.
- Proficiency in GD&T.
- ERP system experience.
- Knowledge of advanced manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, and related measurement methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with product inspection standards, sampling, metrology, and tools calibration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in aerospace composite materials.
- Preferred experience with APQP and RCCA.
- Lean certification (Green or Black belt).
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain AS9100 or ISO9000 quality systems.
- Develop comprehensive work instructions for QC inspections.
- Conduct FAI/PPAP processes as required.
- Apply GD&T principles to quality control procedures.
- Utilize ERP systems for quality management.
- Ensure adherence to advanced manufacturing standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Perform product inspections according to established standards and sampling procedures.
- Conduct metrology and tools calibration activities as needed.
- Provide expertise in aerospace composite materials if applicable.
- Collaborate on APQP and RCCA initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Pursue Lean certification and contribute to process optimization efforts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Quality preferred.
Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
