Logistician, Journeyman

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Secret Clearance
• Expertise with Integrated Supply Chain Management, Warehouse and Inventory Management to include Government Property
• Proficiency with CMPRO and other ERP and WMS Systems
• Experience with the Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) process
• Experience in the supervision and management of multiple logistics personnel
• Must possess analytical, communication, short-term planning, and problem solving skills

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bachelor's degree and ten years of acquisition related experience or a Master's degree and eight years acquisition related experience in support DOD projects and programs. In lieu of degree relevant experience in this occupational field can be evaluated
• Defense Logistics Knowledge
• Dependable with a strong work ethic

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops innovative, responsive program supportability concepts incorporating applicable Department of Defense instructions relating to Integrated Logistics Support
• Manages a logistics team providing C5ISR acquisition support to the project leads and Program Manager. Reports to the Program Manager.
• Conducts and manages acquisition transactions to include Project CDRL's, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, and Inventory Management
• Establishes and Maintains a Logistics Process and continual process improvement in support of Projects
• Creates DD1149's required for material transfers
• Manages vendor material returns via the Return Material Authorizations (RMA) process
• Manages and Controls production order kiting and delivery to production
